Review credit usage, account users, and add-ons for your mabl account on the Billing tab of the account dashboard. This article explains key concepts for understanding your account’s billing and usage:
- For information on accessing the account dashboard, see the company dashboard.
- For information on the Quality Metrics tab, see the account-level coverage dashboard.
mabl Core plans only
This article outlines the account dashboard for accounts that purchased a mabl Core plan. If your organization purchased a legacy plan (startup, growth, or enterprise), the account dashboard shows chart usage for each account by test type, which may include browser, API, accessibility, and performance.
Credits
Credits are the unit of measurement for all tests executed in the cloud. The account dashboard shows the consumption of test run credits across workspaces in your account. Use the account usage dropdown to view usage on an annual or monthly basis:
- Annual: test run credits used during the selected calendar year.
- Monthly: test run credits used during the selected calendar month.
Usage measurement
Depending on the type of contract that your company purchased, credits are allocated on an annual or monthly basis. You can find your account’s usage measurement and contract duration in the Account users section.
Unused credits at the end of the configured billing period do not roll over to the next period.
Billing alerts
To receive email notifications when your organization is reaching your credit limit, toggle on billing alerts. mabl sends the billing alert email to all company admins.
Account users
The account dashboard shows the total number of account users. Similar to the usage page, the account dashboard categorizes users based on their level of test authoring activity:
- Automators: users with at least 30 test authoring activities during a given month.
- Participants: all other users added to your mabl account with 0-29 test authoring activities for the month.
Account users can participate in multiple workspaces, but they are only counted once at the account level. When measuring an account user’s overall level of test authoring activity, the following rules apply:
- If a user is an automator in at least one workspace, they are considered an automator at the account level.
- If a user is only a participant in one or more workspaces, they are considered an automator at the account level if the sum of their test authoring activities across all workspaces is at least 30.
- If a user is only a participant in one or more workspaces, they are considered a participant at the account level if the sum of their test authoring activities across all workspaces is less than 30.
