On the usage page, credit allocations set guidelines for how many credits a given workspace should use. For an account with multiple workspaces, the total number of credits is distributed across all workspaces.
Default credit allocation
By default, the total number of credits for an account is split equally between its workspaces. For example, if an account with two workspaces is allocated 2,000 credits for the month, each workspace shows 1,000 for its credit allocation.
Exceeding workspace credit allocation
Exceeding the credit allocation in workspace does not mean that your account has exceeded its total number of credits. Workspace credit allocations are a suggested guideline rather than a hard limit.
Some teams may benefit from setting different credit allocations for different workspaces. For example, if your account has one workspace for onboarding new team members and another workspace for your primary testing activities, you can allocate fewer credits to the onboarding workspace and more credits to the testing workspace.
