You can now build multiple browser tests at the same time in the cloud, without opening the mabl Trainer. With parallel agentic test authoring, describe what you want to test and the mabl agent builds your tests autonomously in the cloud, so you can focus on more strategic work.
With cloud-based test authoring, you can:
- Author tests in parallel - work on multiple test builds instead of training tests one at a time in the Trainer.
- Skip the Desktop App - create browser tests directly from the web app.
- Track progress from a single page - monitor all active cloud-based authoring sessions from the agents page.
Cloud-based test authoring is available for all workspaces.
Try it out
To try it out, take the following steps:
- Go to New test > Browser test and describe your test.
- After the mabl agent builds an initial outline, use the chat interface to iterate on the outline and provide additional context.
- When the test outline aligns with your goals, click on the Next button.
- Add in any missing information on the Test creation form, such as DataTables or credentials.
- In the Build approach section, select cloud.
- Click on Create test to start the cloud training session.
When you start a cloud-based authoring session, mabl redirects you to the agents page, where you can track the agent’s progress. While the agent is building out your test, you may start additional sessions. No need to wait for the first one to finish!
If a test needs attention, open it locally in the mabl Trainer to finish building it manually or switch to Agent mode to let the agent continue.
Private environments
To test internal applications with cloud-based test authoring, use one of the following approaches:
- Set up mabl Link and select a Link-enabled environment for training.
- Add mabl’s static IP addresses to your organization’s firewall allowlist.
