When you associate a test with a DataTable, you can train and run the test with multiple sets of data, such as testing the same flow across different regions or accounts, without duplicating the test. This article explains how to associate new and existing tests with DataTables.
Generating a DataTable
When you generate a DataTable from test data-driven variables, the DataTable is automatically associated with the test.
New tests
To associate a new test with an existing DataTable, follow these steps:
- Create a new test.
- In the test creation form, expand Optional configurations.
- Choose one or more DataTables from the list of existing DataTables.
- Make sure "Populate data-driven variables from a DataTable during training" is checked.
- Select the scenario that you want to use for training.
- Click on the Create test button. The new test will be associated with the DataTable(s) when you save it.
