Performance metrics for browser load tests include:
- Functional test failure rate
- Core Web Vitals
- Step duration
Core Web Vitals are a set of metrics defined by Google that measure different aspects of the user experience. By improving your application's Core Web Vitals, you can improve your application's SEO and its overall perceived responsiveness.
How can I get access?
During the early access program, customers who have not already purchased performance testing may enable it in Labs and receive 500 VUH for free to try it out. You must be a workspace owner to turn on this feature.
Access and pricing are subject to change until performance testing is available for general availability. Prior to general availability, changes to performance testing may be made without notice.
How does it work?
To build a browser load test, create a new performance test and select existing browser tests. Configure the settings for the test, including concurrency, run time, and failure criteria.
Setting failure criteria
After running the test in the cloud, you can view an output summary and dig deeper into metrics for specific steps, such as the largest contentful paint (LCP) or step duration in the table below.
