The mabl Desktop App is a unified platform for creating automated tests, enabling you to create, edit, and manage your tests within the context of the app.
Supported operating systems
The application is available on macOS, Windows, and Linux. In order to obtain an installer link, download the installation package here.
System requirements
While we do not have strict system requirements for the desktop application, we do recommend installing it on a recent version of your respective operating system. For more specific information on installing the desktop app on Linux, check out our guide on using the desktop app on Linux.
Networking requirements
Some organizations may need to take additional steps to make mabl compatible with their network. Check out this guide for more information on the network permissions required to use mabl.
Installation steps
Before starting, you'll need to have Google Chrome installed. If you don't, you can download it here.
- Visit the mabl Desktop App download page.
- Download the desktop app installer that matches the operating system you are using.
- Once the download is finished, start the installation process. On Windows and Linux, double click the file and the installation process should begin. On macOS, open the installer and drag the app into the Applications folder.
Updating the app
The desktop app will automatically check for updates when relaunched. However, you can check for updates manually at any point in time by navigating to Help => Check for updates in the top menu.
