Installing the mabl Trainer Chrome extension

The mabl Trainer is a Google Chrome extension that enables you to easily create automated tests as you interact with your application in the browser. You can also use the trainer to replay and debug your tests on your local machine.

Intention to Sunset

The Chrome extension will be formally sunset by the end of 2021, but is still available for use at this time. Additional information on the sunset plan can be found here.

Installation steps

The mabl Trainer is available on the Chrome Web Store, through the desktop app, and the mabl CLI, which can be installed via the npm package manager. We recommend that all users install the desktop app or Chrome extension and use the mabl CLI as a companion tool for your terminal.

So, go to the Chrome Web Store and find the mabl Trainer listing.

Then, click on the “Add to Chrome” button in the top-right corner of the page and confirm the installation by clicking "Add extension" in the dialog box that pops up.

You have successfully installed the mabl Trainer extension and can start training mabl on your first test.
