Download performance data for any test step

For all Chrome test runs, you can now download timeline records that mabl captures, to debug faster.

How to download a step's performance trace:

  1. Train a test and navigate to the Output page, where you can view the steps and screenshots mabl is taking.
  2. Navigate to the step where the error is occurring.
  3. Click on the "Actions" button to the left.
  1. Click on the "Download step trace" button" in the dropdown.
  2. At this point, a JSON file should begin downloading.

Viewing the step trace in the Chrome browser:

  1. Open the Chrome dev tools, which can be accessed by Inspecting the page.
  2. Navigate to the Performance tab.
  3. Drag and drop the downloaded JSON file here. You should now be able to timeline occurring behind the scenes!
