You can now tell when an agent changed a test or flow. Previously, the activity feed showed an agent's changes as if a person had made them, and version history tagged agent versions without saying who the agent acted for. Now, the activity feed, version history, and test and flow details show the person or API key the agent acted for, followed by the agent that made the change:
- "via mabl agent": a mabl agent made the change, for example while building or updating a test you asked for.
- "via external agent": an AI coding assistant connected to your workspace through the mabl MCP made the change.
Changes you make yourself look the same as before.
Where you'll see it
- Activity feed: in Settings > Activity feed and the company activity feed, the User column shows the person or API key on the first line and the agent on the line below.
- Version history: the version selector for tests and flows now names the person or API key each agent version was made for, alongside the existing Agent generated tag, so you can see whose request led to an edit when you compare or restore versions.
- Test and flow details: the "last edited" line on a test's details page and the version line on a flow show the agent alongside the person.
