Handing test work to your coding agent saves time, but until the agent sums up the result, it's hard to tell what it's actually doing. With the latest version of mabl skills, Claude Code shows each mabl agent session, cloud run, and deployment in its own tab as it runs. Watch a test take shape, see failures as they happen, and act on them without leaving the terminal.
Each type of work gets its own view:
- mabl agent sessions: follow the mabl agent as it builds a test step by step in the cloud and answer its questions from the tab.
- Cloud runs, plan runs, and deployments: see each test pass or fail as it happens, then re-run, debug, or edit any finished test from its row.
- Debug sessions: see which step runs next while your agent steps through a failure.
To see everything from the session in one place, type /mabl. A line above the prompt shows how many items are still running.
The live view requires the latest version of Claude Code. mabl skills work the same as before in Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, and Devin.
Try it out
- Install or update mabl skills in Claude Code, following the installation instructions in the repo.
- Steps from mabl agent sessions are off by default. To see them, turn on Show mabl results in side panel in
/config. - Ask your agent to do mabl work, such as "Create a test for the new signup form" or "How did the deployment of this PR go?"
- Open the item's tab to follow it. If your terminal is too narrow to show tabs, type
/mabland select Open tab next to the item.
In a run or deployment tab, select Failed or Passed to narrow the list. Every passed or failed test has three actions:
- Re-run starts a new cloud run of the test right away.
- Debug puts a command in your prompt to debug that run locally.
- Edit puts a request in your prompt to edit that test, and waits for you to describe the change.
Re-run starts a cloud run without asking for confirmation, and that run counts toward your cloud usage. Debug and Edit only fill in your prompt, so you can review the request before you send it.
