When the mabl agent finishes authoring a test, it replays the test in a clean browser to verify it and summarizes the run on the session page. Previously, that summary didn't always match the run it linked to, or cloud results for the same test. Now the summary describes the verification run more accurately:
- The link matches the summary - the View the test run link opens the verification run the summary is about, even when the session verified the test more than once.
- Skipped steps are counted separately - steps inside conditional branches that don't run are reported as skipped instead of passed. For example: "5 steps passed, 1 skipped in inactive conditional branches."
- Conditionals match cloud runs - verification runs now mark IF and ELSE IF steps whose conditions are false as passed, just like cloud runs. Only steps inside a branch that didn't run are counted as skipped.
- Logs for longer tests - instead of showing "No logs available," verification runs for longer tests now consistently link to their test run and include a step log.
No action is required. Sessions from before this change may not show a run link.
