On March 15, 2027, mabl will shut down the legacy mabl Link service. Link 3.0 replaces it with a faster, more reliable tunnel, and every team that runs tests over mabl Link needs to move to Link 3.0 before that date.
Who is affected
Your team is affected if you run a mabl Link Agent to test private environments. After March 15, 2027:
- Link Agents older than version 3.0 stop working.
- A Link Agent on version 3.0 or later keeps working only if your account has moved to the Link 3.0 protocol.
Tests that don't use mabl Link are not affected, including tests against public applications and tests that reach your environments through mabl's static IP addresses. Your tunnel names, environments, and Link Agent API keys carry over to Link 3.0 unchanged.
What to do
Before March 15, 2027, upgrade your Link Agents to version 3.0 or later, allow the Link 3.0 endpoints through your firewall, and contact mabl to move your account to Link 3.0.
