Planning a test through natural language prompts is a great way to get started: you describe what you want, and the mabl agent works out the details. Sometimes, though, it's quicker to make a small change yourself than to explain it in a prompt. Now you get the best of both worlds. When you plan a test with the mabl agent, you can manually update the test configuration right in the chat session, such as the app, environment, DataTable, or credentials.
Editing these values yourself is often faster than steering the agent toward them. Instead of sending a followup prompt like "no, don't use that app, use this one" and waiting for the agent to respond, you can set the value directly.
After starting a planning session with the mabl agent, you can update the following values directly from the Test information box:
- name
- description
- URL
- application
- environment
- credentials
- branch
- add to plan
- viewport
- mobile device configuration (for mobile web)
- labels
- DataTables
