Creating and managing Jira issues for test failures is now easier than ever with our new issue pre-fill feature! Now, when you create a Jira issue for a failed mabl test, Auto TFA automatically generates a summary and description, so you can save time on issue creation and move on to other tasks.
Advanced AI add-on
Issue pre-fill and Auto TFA are available as part of the Advanced AI add-on. Reach out to your customer success manager for more information.
How it works
When you link a failed mabl test to a new or existing Jira issue, mabl uses the failure analysis generated by Auto TFA to automatically complete issue details.
- For new issues, mabl automatically pre-fills the issue summary and description with relevant test failure information.
- For existing issues, mabl generates a description based on the test failure information. To add it to the existing issue's description, check the Append description box before submitting. The description will be added to the end of the existing issue description.
All pre-filled summaries and descriptions may be edited before creating or linking the issue.

Opt out for existing issues
If you don't want to append a failure analysis to an existing issue, just leave the Append description checkbox unchecked. This option is helpful for recurring issues when you want to avoid clutter.
