Try out the mabl MCP
For those of you who are looking to adopt a more agentic testing workflow, we're excited to share that the mabl MCP is available in early access! Use it to complete mabl tasks from your AI client of choice, including running tests, getting results, and even creating new tests based on natural language prompts.

Enhancements
Faster run times on the new cloud runners
We recently optimized our cloud runners for browser tests to reduce overall test run times and speed up the feedback cycle. The new runners reduce time spent on the mabl parts of test execution, in particular test startup. Learn more.
More AI enhancements to support your testing workflow
We've added a couple more AI enhancements throughout the product to help you work smarter:
- Flow support for the API Test Creation Agent - the agent can now import API flows most relevant to your test intent, just like it does for browser and mobile tests. With flow support, you can make better use of the existing API flows in your workspace.
- GenAI failure analysis available from mabl API endpoints - when tests and plans fail, you can now access the failure analysis from the test run and plan run summary API endpoints. Use this additional context to provide better visibility in your custom reporting workflows.
- Smarter Jira integration - failure analyses are also now available from Jira tickets, helping you document and triage issues faster.
Bug fixes
General
- Corrected an issue with Unified Reporting where local runs would show "Plan not available" instead of the expected "Local run"
- Fixed an issue that where paginated results in plan run output would reset to the first page after a few seconds.
- Fixed an issue that caused 500 errors when loading test details for API tests with certain invalid authentication configurations.
Test creation
- Improved the performance and reliability of the snippet editor.
- Fixed issues with GenAI snippet generation for API tests.
- Resolved an issue with creating steps that interact with slot elements.
- Fixed issues that caused the Trainer to record duplicate steps when interacting with elements nested within an iframe in a shadow DOM.
- Fixed a bug where error messages from API requests were not being displayed correctly in the mabl Trainer.
- Fixed an issue with searching existing JS snippets while creating a variable.
Integrations & mabl API
- Fixed an issue where fetching test run summaries for specific date ranges would result in an error.
- Fixed an issue with triggering deployment events from more recent versions of the mabl Bamboo plugin.
- Fixed an issue that prevented creating or updating existing Jira tickets from mabl.
