Mabl now supports creating permanent email addresses for use with email testing!
Previously, email testing required the use of temporary email addresses, which are stored to a variable and differ in every single test run. Permanent email addresses are created within a particular workspace, and can be reused across test runs and different tests.
Permanent email addresses are ideal for many email testing scenarios, including:
- Testing password recovery
- Testing logins that require multi-factor authentication via email
- Testing on emails sent from applications where account registration is not immediate
Email testing is available for trial users and customers on an enterprise plan.
Try it out
To use this new feature, create a new permanent email address in the Mailbox page of the mabl app: Configuration > Mailbox
.
The Mailbox page
When you create a permanent email address, you can give your email address a name and write your custom prefix. You may also add a description.
The new permanent email address will then be available for use in the mabl Trainer!
