mabl supports using single sign-on (SSO) with SAML so that users can login using your corporate identity provider. This article explains what to expect when you set up SSO for your mabl account.

Logging in via SSO
Setup
To set up your SSO connection, you’ll need to reach out to mabl support. The following articles provide more details on the process:
- SAML setup for Okta - Use these instructions if your SAML identity provider is Okta. These instructions work should also work with other SAML identity providers that have a similar setup
- SAML setup for Microsoft Entra ID - Use these instructions if your SAML identity provider is Azure.
SSO for multiple domains
If you have additional domains for your workspace, for example your main connection is for someone@companya.com and you also have users logging into your workspace with someone@companyb.com, let our support team so that they can add those additional domains when configuring your SAML connection. You may only use domains that your company fully owns.
Logging in through SSO
After you set up your SSO connection, pre-existing users with “@yourcompany.com” emails can log in via your SSO provider. A single SSO connection supports all of the workspaces associated with your account.
For security reasons we do not automatically add users to your company’s workspace. You will need to invite those users to your shared workspace. All new mabl user signups for your domain must be through SSO.
Domain lock (optional)
SSO integrations may also be configured with domain lock. When enabled, all logins from your company domain (e.g. “yourcompany.com”) users must be through SSO.
- Any new username/password signups from your company’s domain will be blocked.
- Any logins with pre-existing username/password auth will be blocked.
If your SSO setup includes additional domains, they will also be included in domain lock.
Logging in with username/password
If you created your account with username and password and domain lock is not configured for your SSO connection, you may log in with a username and password or through SSO.
If you need to log into your mabl account with username or password, but you created the account with SSO, please reach out to the support team for further assistance.
