As part of the mabl Enterprise package and our new Safari program, you can run your plans and tests on Safari in addition to Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. All tests run on native Apple hardware with the latest Safari and Mojave versions to ensure the most accurate testing of your app.
The vast majority of mabl features are available when testing on Safari so you can run your tests across browsers without worrying about compatibility. These features include, but are not limited to:
- mabl Link
- Static egress IPs
- DataTables and Data-Driven Testing
- Triggered tests via API
- File upload and download
When running your tests on Safari you may encounter some scheduling latency as a result mabl's use of real Apple hardware for all Safari tests. Thus, there are also some limitations on parallel execution to provide the best testing experience all customers. In a situation affected latency, tests will be executed in the order they are requested as quickly as possible.
Safari support is currently available to only Enterprise customers. Refer to the pricing page for additional upgrade information.
Please feel free to reach out to the mabl team in-app or at [email protected] if you have any further questions.
Safari Duration Times
It's important to note that the test execution duration time includes the time it takes from clicking run/trigger to to be spun up which may look like a discrepancy between the time the steps took to execute vs. the full duration.
