Mabl Trainer Options

Mabl offers two different platforms for training tests, the Chrome extension and the desktop app. The Chrome extension is the original method for creating and editing tests and works in tandem with the mabl web app. Additional information on downloading the Chrome extension can be found here.

The desktop app is in beta and undergoing rapid development. Unlike the Chrome extension, the desktop app allows you to manage, edit, and create tests in one place. For even faster feedback on test changes, the app also allows running tests locally for free both in headful and headless mode. It provides exclusive functionality for creating API tests, as well as training and running tests on emulated mobile devices. Once the desktop app is generally available, it will become the primary method for creating and editing tests in mabl. Additional information on downloading the desktop app can be found here.
