Deleting site-specific cookies in chrome

Every test run starts on a new container with a blank slate. Cookies from your application can affect training the test, causing a mismatch with the test environment. To best remedy this you can delete just the cookies for your app. Here's how to do that without losing all of your other browsing data or getting logged out of your favorite apps.

Deleting Cookies in a New Test

Important information on the mabl Desktop app

If you are using the mabl Desktop app you will not need to clear cookies when opening a new training session, as a fresh Chrome window will be used for testing.

When you start a new test in mabl, you can easily clear the cookies on the URL you're testing. When the modal appears when you start training, select the "Clear cookies matching current URL."

How to Delete Site-specific Cookies in Chrome Manually

Start by clicking on the three dots menu in the top right of Chrome. Then click Settings > Advanced Settings > Content Settings > Cookies > See all cookie and site data. Or, you can just copy and paste this link into your Chrome URL bar:

chrome://settings/siteData

Search for your domain name, then select and delete the cookies associated with that site.

Once those are deleted, you can start training or editing your test without previous data causing interference.
